Happy May!

Happy May! Can’t believe how fast time flies. I’ve dropped off the blogging game for so long. But I’m back now! And planning to use WP again to keep track of my fitness progress/get inspiration from others.

This morning I decided its about time I put a focus back on running. I’ve never been a fan of running and preferred other methods of cardio, however I think it’ll be a great way to build stamina and general fitness. I also have always considered long distance running to be the most undesirable method of fitness– I figure I challenge myself and defeat that attitude.

I surprised myself and ran 3.5 miles today. That’s nothing to a boss, but great for me! (See below)

My goal is to be able to run 5 miles straight by the end of the month. I’m not sure I’ve ever done that… Time to make good use of the beautiful weather outside!
